IRON - We develop, manufacture, and market products for all iron melting applications (gray, ductile, malleable, chrome iron, etc.) These products include MINRO-SIL®, MINRO-SIL LD®, MINRO-SIL 2001®, and many DRI-VIBE® compositions. We can zone specialty refractories in order to address erosion in a specific area (e.g. elephant’s foot wear, slag line erosion).
STEEL - We make DRI-VIBE® refractories for all steel chemistries and temperature ranges. DRI-VIBES provide maximum campaign length for carbon steels, tool steels, manganese steels, alloyed steels, and all other compositions. We focus on minimizing wear caused by chemical attack, slag attack, thermal cycling, and unexpected temperature excursions. We also manufacture and sell wet ram refractories for steel melting. We use alumina, magnesia, spinel, chrome ore, zircon, and other refractory minerals to develop the best possible refractory matrices.

Thermal Ceramics
Thermal Ceramics is well known for its high temperature products that have a variety of applications. They offer high alumina crucibles that range of standard sizes up to 2,250 lbs steel capacity; specials up to 5,600 lbs steel capacity. Their Pre-Fired Spouts offer an excellent resistance against thermal shock and cycling. Quick change-out time, consistent flow/pour characteristics, and are available in 66% to 95% alumina contents.
