Riley
Power Inc. (RPI) is a major U.S. supplier of natural circulation steam
generators. With more than 90 years of experience serving U.S.
utilities and industrial installations. RPI has the technology,
experience, and resources to perform a comprehensive review of your
specific requirements; develop an integrated design solution, including
firing systems and emission control equipment; and execute the required
work in an expeditious manner, minimizing any site interruptions. In
addition to firing a wide range of coals and other fossil fuels, BPI has
experience with over 70 different types of waste fuels, especially
Municipal Solid Waste. Our customer base includes utilities,
municipalities, IPPs, industrial plants, waste-to-energy plants,
refineries, and pulp and paper facilities.
Field-erected boilers are available from RPI in capacities from 100,000
pounds per hour to more than 4,000,000 pounds per hour of steam.
Firing systems for coal units available from RPI consist of an array of
milling equipment, including MPS Pulverizers, Atrita® mills, and Ball
Tube Mills, depending upon the application and Customer needs.
RPI’s well proven low NOx CCV® burners are also available.
RPI
has extensive experience burning other waste materials in its steam
generators also, converting the fuel into a low-cost energy. For other
fossil and waste fuels, RPI furnishes oil and gas burners, waste fuel
burners, and a complete line of stokers, including traveling grate
spreader stokers, stationary pinhole grates, and water-cooled oscillating
grates.
RPI is one of the industry’s leaders in providing steam generators
for burning refuse. RPI’s current installation base of such units
burn more than 20,000TPD of refuse. RPI can provide such steam generators
for new sites, as well as existing site expansions. Where existing
units are already installed, RPI can perform a complete analysis of the
installed units and provide a modern solution (which can include
replacement of pressure parts, etc) to enhance the overall efficiency of
operation, as well as improve the overall reliability of the plant.
As a subsidiary of Babcock Power Inc, RPI has the ability to also
integrate state-of-the-art environmental equipment into its overall
solution for a particular plant through its sister company Babcock Power
Environmental Inc.
